Underground

Underground

Every underground station is equipped with at least one lift which goes directly from ground level to the platform. Wheelchair users are advised to get in at the first door behind the driver. The driver (Line U1 trains only) will be happy to assist you boarding the vehicle. Tell him the station you want to leave the train. Line U2 U3 trains have a ramp at each door which pulls out automaticly.

Bus

Most of the buses in operation (especially in the cities) are low-floor buses. Additionally the buses can be lowered sidewise at stops ("kneeling"). Some buses are equipped with folding ramps for wheelchair users. Please always use the door in the middle of the bus. Make sure that you catch the attention of the bus driver, he will pull out the ramp for you as soon as possible. If you want to leave the bus, please press the button marked with a wheelchair symbol.
