A zone card shows us, in which area your MobiCard is valid.
As you can see on the right picture, there is no information about your starting point and your destination. All you can see is the price level (4+T). The zone card defines your connection by listing the fare zones according to the price level you have paid for.
In our example the MobiCard is valid from Erlangen to Forchheim.
You do not require a zone card for these areas:
- Nürnberg-Fürth-Stein (price level A)
- Fürth (price level B)
- Erlangen (price level C)
- Entire VGN Area (price level 10)
